(2/3) Monday- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. King was one of, if not the most prominent figure in the civil rights movement during the mid 1900's. He fought for equal rights not just for his race, but for all mankind. He was respected and beloved by so many people all over the world that when he was assassinated, it was viewed as a global tragedy.

James Earl Ray was tried and convicted for the assassination of Dr. King, but many believe he did not act alone. Research the assassination, examine the facts, and in your opinion determine if what you found was the whole truth. Explain, in depth, why or why not you believe this is the case.

(2/4) Tuesday- The Case that Introduced Fingerprints

Sir Francis Galton is of the upmost importance to world of Forensic Science. I mean, he was knighted for goodness sakes...

Although he is not known as the Father of Fingerprinting, he was the first to use fingerprints as a means of identification in physical evidence. A method that he discovered in the 1880's is still in use today!

It wasn't until the case of William West that fingerprinting really took off. Research the case of William West and provide me a brief description of what happened and why fingerprinting was so important in finding the end result.
